Re-design Blog interface

Currently, I'm planning to re-design my Eagle Paradise interface, the current interface is wide-screen view, plain design and lack of graphics (actually don't have any!!). I'm admitted that I didn't put much effort on the interface design last time since I was just a newbie. After getting Google PR2, I think is time for me to re-design it and make it more attractively and neat.

Though, I wish I could have some brilliant ideas or advises or suggestions from you guys. If you have any ideas on how to design a nice interface, please share with us. Thank you.

Malaysia first cantonese rap band "Manhand"

Maybe many of you didn't know that recently in Malaysia there is a a new cantonese rap band named "Manhand". Personally, I like that band quite much as I thought their are very talent and great. Almost all the lyrics were wrote by them self and the way they perform also great. I use to listen cantonese rap song but mostly are from Hong Kong for instance LMF, MP4 and ect. Now I'm just proud of Manhand as the first Cantonese rap band in Malaysia. Below shows list of songs in their latest album. Just click on the song for the lyrics.

Today just felt a little bit surprise with happy when noticed that my "Eagle Paradise" blog has become Google PR 2 from nothing. I'm admitted that recently I really seldom update my blog because of busy doing my master research!!

Anyway maybe that's why Google try to send me a message for not giving up writing blog and though awarded my blog to PR2 hehehe.......I will try to update my blog from time to time more frequently so that my blog PR can keep going up and up. Cheer!!!

Kindergarten of Forest?? 森の幼稚園

Have you ever heard or see any kindergarten was built in the forest?? Well, in Japan the answer is “Yes”. Somewhere in Nagoya City, Japan a kindergarten named as Kindergarten of Forest “森の幼稚園” was built nearby the forest. As you can see from the photos below, the kindergarten doesn’t have any advanced facilities or equipments as other kindergarten nowadays.

They just utilize the advantages what is around. You won’t found any “concrete stuffs” here as all the building was making by wood only. It just let us have a very comfortable feeling as we are within the natural of environment. Isn’t it great for our children been here in order just sitting in the classroom to study of even playing games in the courtyard only?

Nice Online 3D Game

Have you ever heard about Get the Glass online 3D game? Well, when I played it in a very first time, it’s really amazed me with the great graphic. Actually “Get the Glass” is a monopoly based 3D game, it’s simple to play, do not request any special skills unlike others shooting games or mind games which you need to think a lot.

Get the Glass was produced as a part of a new “Got Milk advertising campaign” in the US. The object of the game is to get the Adachi family around the board and into Fort Fridge so that they can ‘Get the Glass’.

Just like any other monopoly games, you need to throw a dice using your mouse to proceed and also got fortune, misfortune and master mind cards as well. Every card has a task for you to complete when you hit on it. I won’t tell you what the task is, coz it’s better for you experience it by your own. :D

If you ever bored with what you’re doing right now, it’s just nice to have a rest with playing this game :D

Another Useful FREE Software "CCleaner"

During my previous posted, I have shared with you a free Dictionary Software "WordWeb". In this post, I try to share with another free utility software which called CCleaner. CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It helps to removes unused files from your system and allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history for both IE and Firefox (if you using both of them just like me :D). But the best part is that it's fast and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)

I've been using this software more than a month, what I can say was its great. Light software with great performance. Though, I won't hesitate to share this info with you all. :D

Useful FREE dictionary software

Ever looking for a FREE English dictionary program!! Maybe you can try with this software WordWeb. I used that software/program many years ago and I found it's pretty good. More important thing that it's absolutely FREE!! Besides, you also can download its own pronunciation sound files which about 80++MB in ZIP format (suggested for broadband user). All you need to do is just extract the zip file into the location where your program was installed and located. I have tried it and its sound nice atleast better than windows default sound files :D Screenshot below shows how its look like

If you looking for a dictionary program for your computer, its worth for a try :D

Japan human art TV shows

Long time ago, there was a famous Japanese TV program which is all about human art and creativity stuffs. I still remember got one presentation called "Matrix Ping Pong" and its pretty impressive.

In the latest shows and yet another presentation has drove my attention. The title likely called "The reason why my girlfriend upset with me" "僕の彼女が怒った理由" Personally, I like that shows very much although its didn't get in the first. Recently I've found that clip was uploaded by someone so I just grabbed that code and put it here......Just try to enjoy it!!

My first time ride Segway

As we know Japan technology always lead the world. Since I’m residing in Japan, I just got a great change to taste the advance technology of Robotech as last week I went to Robot Museum, Nagoya to test a ride on Segway.

Maybe many people don’t know what is it? Actually Segway is a two wheel machine with an advanced technology integrated that allow you ride on it to go forward, turn left and right or even make a backward without slip of it. Amazing huh!! Photo below shows how its looks like.

In Japan, nothing is free. To test ride Segway, you have to pay 500 yen for just less than 5 minutes ride. Somehow, is still worth for me because when you ride on it, the feeling was really great especially when it’s your first time to taste it. :) Besides, I rather paid 500yen for a test than buying that machine which cost about 96, 6000 yen.

My friend has helped me take a short video when I rode on it. For those who hasn’t try it, just enjoy the clips first ya :D

Joost - A new way watching TV

Maybe some of you have heard about "Joost" or maybe not!! Let me describe a little bit of what is all about. Joost is a free watching TV program via the internet. This program provide a high-quality full-screen picture with almost no downloading time require. Users just click on the show and its play!!

Recently, I have installed it in my personal computer. When I watch TV shows via Joost, I was very satisfy with the image quality and streaming time as well. Hence, I would like to give a sincere review on it and don't worry because this is not an advertisement post :) Inside Joost, an extra features also included such as online chatting and so on.

Orchid Garden in Nagoya, Japan Flower lover MUST SEE!!

For those who currently residing in Nagoya City and also an orchid lovers, you should pay a visit at Orchid Garden nearby the town center. Inside you can found out many different species of orchids.

By paying little amount of entrance fee, you can enjoy many species of orchids. Actually that garden is not very big but just enough to plant orchids and other flowers such as lotus. Inside the garden, you can find a small lake and a greenhouse too for orchids.

If you like, you can buy those orchids. The price just reasonable and affordable where from low to expensive which up to 1000 USD. Besides, other products such as orchid seeds, and vase also available there. So it's really a good place for family reunion and flower lovers.

Drive Through Public Phone

We heard a lot of drive through fast food restaurant, drive through bank and so on. But when I watched news on tv today, a different kind of service just available in Nagoya, Japan which is Drive Through Public Phone. This service mainly to convenient people where you can make a phone call just with drive through!!

This service was set up next the road just like any others drive through services. But this time 2 public phones were installed and each one have a parking lot next to it. When people wanna use this service, they just need to park their car inside the parking lot and the public phone is just next to you. All you need to do is open a window and then start make a call!! Some peoples will questioning, why we need to use public phone since most of the people in Japan own a mobile phone?? A report has said by using public phone to make call is cheaper than any other mobile phones. Below shows the charges between mobile phone and public phone.

Mobile phone (without any discount) 40 yen per minute
Mobile phone (with discount) 15 yen per minute
Public Phone 10 yen per minute

So hopefully in the future we still able to see a conventional public phone.......

Muar Chinese Malaysia 麻坡的華語

A very funny and creative clips which using a rap song to represent the Muar Chinese Dialect. In Malaysia, Chinese from different places speaking of different Chinese dialect. This clip was tried to shows how the Muar Chinese dialect all about. "Muar" is a name of a place which located in South Malaysia under Johore State. The residents in Muar are mostly Chinese and it's a small town with couple blocks of commercial areas only. Beware when you open this clip as its content inappropriate words. Have fun....

The Hadaka Matsuri (Festival) <国府宮はだか祭り>

In March, 2007 me and my friends went to Konomiya Shrine in Inazawa, Japan to enjoy the Hadaka Matsuri. It's just another kind of festival place in Japan. Inazawa takes about 15 minutes away from Nagoya to Konomiya Station by express train. The unit thing for this festival was all the participants wearing loincloths, fundoshi in Japanese (Japanese style underwear) and only men can join it. It's kind of fun when you see a lot of boys and mens wearing underwear walking on the street. :D

Hadaka in Japanese means naked!! That's why they all wearing like that. In order to bring fun, every festivals in Japan also have their own purpose. The Hadaka Matsuri is an old divine service to exorcize plagues, which was started by an Imperial ordinance in the Nara period. Shin-otoko (神男), who is the man burdened with all the world's calamity, is selected among the applicants by lot and prayer. He must have all his hair completely shaved, even the hair on his body. The Japanese believe make a dash to touch the Shin-otoko in order to exorcize plagues. Pictures below show how the situation when all the naked mens wait to touch him in the round field. It's pretty fun there!!

2006 Malaysia F1 Grand Prix

Back to 19th March, 2006 was an unforgettable time for me as I watch F1 LIVE in Sepang, Malaysia first time in my life. It has been more than a year ago, but that excited feeling still remain. It's a bit sad that I've missed the 2007 Grand Prix in Sepang Malaysia as I'm not in Malaysia. Anyway I still like to share out some clips and photos I took that day. That day was cloudy but yet the whole environment still hot with passionate audiences. Look at the photo below and you'll know what I mean!
Before F1 race started, several races have been held as F3 race and Porsche championship. Both races were just fine but for sure not as excited as F1 race!! When F1 race has started, all you can hear was just noise emission from F1 V8 machines and the audiences yelled to support their favorite team. The noise was loud enough to hear it and everytime when the race car hasn't pass by, we already heard the noise from it. Although the noise was loud enough to cover the environment but yet for me the entire race was fantastic and excited.

Actually is not a "true" MTV that we usually see but is like some kinds of funny clip which together with "肥子聪" (from Kung Fu Hustle)......Inside the MTV, the song use a very funny lyrics plus old style dance to make people laugh!! BEWARE of Spywares & Trojan Horses

Have your computer ever hacked by Spywares or Trojan Horses!!

Recently there is a non profit organization "Badware.org" claimed that nowadays spywares and trojan horses can be found in many websites or applications which are downloadable for the user through the internet. In the report, they have listed over 70000 of websites and applications that may harm your computer with those BadWare ( spywares or trojans).

What's really surprise me when I read through it was they have found out applications like Drive Cleaner 2006 Free Version and Kazaa contained badwares . Due to the test and report, when user scan their computer using Drive Cleaner 2006 Free Version. Even though user's computer was clean from any spywares or trojans but the end result will always prompt out a message to ask user upgrade their software in no reason. Really surprise is it!!

Here a little piece of advise, for those who already installed and using Kazaa to download movies or mps. Now is time to switch to other P2P softwares instead. For those Drive Cleaner users, maybe is time for you to consider an alternative ways to clean up your system.
